OPENING DAY is a part of a series of 12 stripe sport themed colourways. This colourway has 3 colours, every other stipe is white the other 6 stripes alternate between blue and red in blocks of 3. You will also receive a co-ordinating mini-skein for your toes/heels/cuffs in the red. Each stripe is approximately 4 rows depending on gauge on a 64 st. sock.

This was the first idea I had for a sports colourway. Our family has enjoyed attending MLB games for many years and OPENING DAY is always very exciting game to attend.

1 skein of self-striping sock yarn (in this case approx 85g stripes 30g mini) is enough to knit a pair of socks in most sizes up to a men's US 10.5. If you will be knitting larger socks I recommend the 145g skein.
